When organisations grow, leadership, structure and collaboration need to evolve with them.
Betwixt is a Berlin-based boutique consultancy specialising in leadership, conflict and organisational development. We are a women-led team working primarily with female founders and leaders as they develop themselves, their teams and the organisations they are building.
What structures do we need now? How does vision become practice? Communication training—or something deeper? How can conflict become productive? Why do tensions keep returning? How can I lead without carrying everything? How do we share responsibility without losing control?

Growth changes more than numbers
We do some of our most meaningful work with female founders and business owners. We understand the questions that emerge as an organisation grows: when the founder can no longer hold everything herself; when responsibility needs to move; when teams and leadership structures need to mature; or when change calls for a different culture of collaboration and conflict.
We don’t believe strong organisations are free from tension or conflict. They become stronger by learning how to work with both. Betwixt brings our experience and distinct perspectives together in one consultancy.
Four women. Deep experience. A shared point of view.
The name Betwixt comes from an old English word meaning “between”. This is where much of our work takes place: between autonomy and collaboration, leadership and relationship, stability and change, the individual and the organisation.
Betwixt was founded by Corinna Sahl and is run together with senior consultants Mona Kino, Christine Ordnung and Jeannette Schulze. We work independently or in different constellations, depending on what each assignment requires.
Between us, we bring expertise in organisational and leadership development, conflict and relational competence, alongside decades of experience working with groups and building organisations of our own. Explore our work.

Jeannette is a business economist, family therapist and entrepreneur. Her experience spans many different roles—as a leader, mother, partner, volunteer mentor and, always, a learner. Combining sensitivity with analytical precision, she works with individuals and groups to develop their relational competence, approach conflict constructively and build relationships grounded in equal dignity.
How we work
We see organisations as social systems. Leadership, people, relationships, structures and day-to-day operations constantly shape one another. That is why we don’t arrive with a predetermined method, or recommend solutions before understanding what is really happening.
For each assignment, we bring together the right combination of expertise. One lead consultant remains clearly responsible for the process throughout.
-
We take time to establish what is actually happening before recommending what should change.
-
We don’t view leadership or the team in isolation. We examine the dynamics between them.
-
Clear leadership and respectful collaboration are not competing principles.
-
Recurring tensions often reveal a mismatch between roles, expectations, structures and decisions.
-
Development only matters when it changes decisions, routines and the way people work together.
Where do you want to take your organisation?
Nine questions invite you to reflect on leadership, responsibility, collaboration and structure and to consider what your organisation needs next.
The questionnaire is currently available in German. All who take part and submit the questionnaire can also enter a draw for one of three 30-minute consultations, each held with one of us.
